Who we are

Em Films Weddings is a wedding videography business serving Norfolk, Suffolk and beyond. We are responsible for your personal information (the “data controller”). You can contact us at hello@emfilmsweddings.com.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our form, or email us, we collect the details you give us:

• your names and email address
• your wedding date and venue or area
• the package you are interested in
• anything you choose to tell us in your message

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers on this website.

Why we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a consultation call, prepare a quote and, if you book, provide your wedding film. This is so we can take steps at your request before a contract, and carry out the contract itself. We also keep records needed to run our business and meet our accounting and tax obligations.

We will not sell your details or share them with anyone for their own marketing.

Who helps us

Some trusted services help us run the website and our email. They only handle information as needed to provide that service:

• Netlify hosts this website and receives the enquiry form.
• Apple (iCloud) provides our email.
• Cloudflare delivers the wedding films you can watch on this site.
• Google Fonts supplies the website’s lettering, which means your device contacts Google’s servers when a page loads.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, and rely on recognised safeguards to protect your information. Our links to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok take you to their sites, which have their own privacy policies.

Cookies

We do not set cookies to track you or show you adverts. Embedded content, such as videos, may use small technical cookies to work properly.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if you book, for our business and tax records. If you would like us to delete your enquiry, just ask.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. To do any of these, email hello@emfilmsweddings.com.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
